Divine timing is perfect

I believe that there’s no such thing as an accident.

or: everything happens for a reason.

Last week I was in such alignment, and my outer world couldn’t help but reflect that! From manifesting a new client and finding a $5 bill on a side walk to experiencing synchronictic events non-stop!

On Friday morning, I left my apartment to go train a client. After leaving my building, I realized that I had forgotten my umbrella.

The weather has been awfully cold and rainy in NYC, so I knew I had to go back and get it. As I was walking up the stairs to my apartment, I thought

”You know… me forgetting my umbrella happened for a reason. I don’t know why, but I somehow needed to be delayed for a couple of minutes.”

I got my umbrella, and started making my way to the subway station. I was a block away when I saw a sea of people coming out of the subway — which meant that the train I needed had just left.

Oh, well. I thought. I’ll catch the next one.

I went down to the station & saw that the next train arrives in 6 minutes. I sat down, took my book out, and started to read.

About 4 minutes later, I got a text from my client saying that she has to cancel last minute.

I put my book in my bag, and as the train was pulling into the station, I stood up and walked back home.

On my way back — it clicked!

Ohmygosh!! That’s EXACTLY why I had to forget my umbrella! If I hadn’t forgotten it, I would’ve gotten on the train that I initially missed, and I would’ve gone halfway to her building only to find out that she had cancelled.

Whoa.

Something that I’ve always believed was once again re-affirmed — no accident is an accident.

If I miss a train/bus/flight, I know it was for a reason. If I spill something onto my shirt, and run 3 minutes behind — I know that I needed to be delayed for a couple of minutes, for a reason I might never know.

However, little events like these remind me that divine timing is perfect, and that I’m being taken care of.
